Hello Everyone!

I know I have been neglecting this space for some time. So here I am, trying to inject some new life to this patheic space of mine.

Everything has been going well so far. Visited the latest hotest spot (Resort World) for the past weeks. Had a taste of the Casino & Universal studio with the accompany of the boyf. Took some photos from universal but will upload it soon once i transfer it to my com. Work wise, doing well in my current position and i believe that i will do even better. =)

So, all in all nothing much to complain about my current life for the exception of getting a new house. My parents have been dragging it for months and now they have not even found one with the reason of housing price is too high now.

Okay, i'm going to catch some drama series from youtube! Chaos~

Caught Alice in the Wonderland '3D' with the boy and his friends at Century Square. Without the subtitle, it's hard to understand what they had said in the beginning. Movie was alright overall. The 3D effect for Avatar is so much better though.

After the movie, we headed to Balestier, ''Boon Tong Kit'' for dinner. It was already late in the night so we went to ECP for bowling. I didn't know the boyf can play well, 80% of the game he kept spare-ing. It's been 3 year plus and this is actually the first time we played together. After 3 games of hard battle, the team of Bryan, me & the boyf won!! =)

Switched to the arcade upstair and played games which usually we will not do in front of many strangers. DDR & Para Para are such games. It was totally hilarious to see how each person played.

Okay..Seafood dinner tonight and I have assignment due!

Over the Weekend

Friday:

Met up with my sec sch peeps in the night for supper

as well as to celebrate CH's birthday.

Supposed to go to Crystal Jade for steamboat but bcus it's full house,

we have to switch to Breko @ Holland V.

Left the place closed to 2am and

headed to boyf's place to dota.

Saturday:

Woke up in the noon with the boyf not ard.

So, not being wanting to coop in the room all alone,

I headed out to the neighbourhood and

popped by a salon randomly for a haircut.

Ta-bao food back to catch the HK drama and

leave the messes in the room

for the boyf to clear up when he's back.

He came back in the afternoon and

we went to Vivo in the evening

to shop and movie.

There are long queue for the fitting rooms

which pretty much turns me off

but still, I queued.

Bought 2 tops & a shorts from Forever 21 & Esprits

Universal Soldiers @ 10pm.

vroomed back to his place after the movie to play dota with his bro.

Watching my HK drama while dota-ing.

We played till 5 in the morning!

I'm gonna start planning for my holidays~

Gonna SAVE SAVE SAVE!

Was pondering between a country which need to spend alot (for airfare etc) or small trips which I can get away from Singapore once every 3 months. After some discussion, most probably I will opt for the second option.

List of small trips
- Bali (seems to be a nice place)
- Genting (someone wants to go the casino there - since we turned 21 legally)
- Bangkok (my shopping spree)
- Last destination for the year (still deciding)

Hope I can spare some time for all the trips above this year!

Anyone is interested to go with me!?! Let me know so we can set the dates.. =)

My dreadful course is gonna start in Feb.. Wish me luck to cope with both my studies and work.

What a Chore!!

Woke up early in the morning for Macdonald Breakfast. It has been some time since I woke up around 9am on a SUNDAY (it has always been 12pm onwards)! Cancelled my cycling trip as my boyf need to standby for dunno what. Boyf recieved a call during breakfast and was told the he will not be require to return to the camp, thus, the tiring day began...

He decided to shift into another room, so it was time to revamp the room. The floor was simply too dirty and mopping the usual way is definately time consuming. So, I copied the bangalah style by spraying water onto the floor which makes thing faster. How smart am I to come up with the method (of course, i did mopped the floor as well). By the time I finished my task, the boyf then finish scrubbing the little window & door. Also, I need to thank his sister for the help too. Since I've got the room flooded with water, she in charge of getting rid of the water to the kitchen. Haha.

Next, headed to some furniture shop to hunt for the new bed. Had some in mind but purchase will be done after the aunt & mum approve. =)

Lets hope everything go as planned..

It's another Birthday Party!

I've got good news to share, but shall wait till the finalization to annouce.

Attended Kenken's 21st Birthday Party @ The Bayshore yesterday. With that, managed to meet up with the primary school peeps again! Gonna see them again 2 weeks later.

Due to the manjong session which I played the night before, I've slept till 5 plus in the evening and missed Jave's little celebration. So Sorry...

Back to the topic, after Kenken's celebration, all of us hopped onto the cars and headed to Illuma for "Imagine That" at 12.40am.

Thanks Michelle Tan & Randall for the gifts! Came right in time for my shopping spree.. Haha.

Bryan's 21st

Met up with the boyf in late afternoon and headed off to SeaBreeze Road to attend Bryan's birthday party! To my least expectation, we are actually the first one there! haha. For once, we are not the latest.

Sumptous food and my fav chilli crab with mantou~ all food catered from Jumbo Seafood.. haha.. Yumm-li-cious! Played 'zhong qi mi ma' while trying to clear the food. Loser have to eat the kuah but when the game was about to end, lotsa weird combination became the punishment. The worse one will be sweet potato sago with chocolate, gummy and kuah. Super digusting!

With the usual players present, the gambling session starts around 12 plus 1am. haha.

Got home around 3.30am with a little door gift from Bryan~

Stayed over at the boy's place and woke up close to 3pm. Headed home to prepare for the movie in the evening. Bought some working clothes and had our dinner over at the restuarant in Illuma. We order quite alot of food.. (3 main course - pasta, steak and mini burgers + a bowl of soup (buttersquash with sweet potato). Super full.

Caught Surrogates at 7.15pm and now i'm back to home blogging.. =)

The Boyf's 21st Birthday!

Woke up 2 plus in the afternoon after a manjong & poker session at WS's place till 6am. Accompanied K to the Bike Accessories Shop and he got himself a $700 full face helmet (after discount: $800, but managed to bargin further). I know it's crazy~

Chilled at my place for a while and headed to Tanglin Shopping Centre for dinner at ChongQing Hotpot with his secondary school friends. A mini celebration for his 21st birthday! Ate alot alot.. Hope they like the food there cos I'm the one who suggested the restuarant. Haha.

Random Post

After my brithday celebration, I seems to be packed with birthday parties! I have one every weekend consecutively till the end of October! Oh my gosh... cannot bear to part with my hard earned $$$. haha. Why do I have so many last 2 quarters baby friends!?! LOL.

So many things to do yet so little time. I'm gonna drown by my workloads~ This few weeks have been ultra busy! I'm so hoping the time will wind faster and go for my holidayin Dec! 2 more days and it's weekend again. Love it~

Long Weekends

So, it began on the Friday.

Reached home around 7.45pm and waited for bryan, his gf & boyf to pick me up from my place. My car was scrapped, so Ms Michelle had to travel on boyf new bike from now on. Bryan drove us to Tampines for Zi Char [boyf's suggestion], which was advertised on Channel 8. Yummy Yummy..

Dropped Bernadett home and headed to Plaza Sing to catch midnight movie, 'Inglourious Bastard'. I kept dozing off throughout the movie (maybe i'm tired) yet the boys enjoyed the movie. Maybe it's just not my cup of coffee.

Then, it was Saturday.

A relaxing day for me!
Cooped at home the whole day watching tv shows, surfing net and munching away.
A good day to relief my tired body.

Sunday cames..

and it was Joseph's 21st Birthday Celebration at Downtown East. Went there in the evening till 11 plus in the night. Met up with the girls and had our usual gossips. We are the best at bitching.. haha..

Monday pls dun end so fast..

Stayed at the boyf's house the night before and reached home ard 2 in the afternoon. Slacking at my place the whole day.. trying to do some of my assignment which i managed to get one quarter of it done. Great! So sleepy now.. Super feel like sleeping! *yawn.

Taiwan Trip Confirmed!

Went to the travel agent to make the deposit together with the rest. I'm so looking forward to it! First time sat onto the boyf's new bike today. The last time I was on his bike it's like at least half a year ago! Super not used to it with the super tiring posture butbut I've made a safe trip home!

Chalet will starts tmr.. Yeah! Must rush there after my work tmr to settle down. I've got so many thing to do.. so much things not plan yet etc..

I'm tired

Just came home from a movie session "UP" with boyf, bryan, bernadatt and bryan's brother. Talked about the taiwan trip at KFC while I'm having my dinner before the movie starts.. I'm sOooo excited!! Holiday...

I've been super SUPER busy lately (especially this week). For the entire 5 days, I've been knocking off after 7pm. OT again and again.. Too many work projects to complete and deadline is so near. I even have to bring home my work to do. Just don't wanna make a trip down to the office over the weekends to finish it. Worse, I haven't even begin my school assignment which is supposed to due last week!?! I'm so caught up. Definately gonna burn my weekends away.

I can even forget that i've got a facial appointment tmr until the staff called me up to reconfirm the appointment. I'm deprived of a good massage. It would be good if someone sign me up to a full body massage program. Also, I need retail therapy.. some shopping vouchers / cash will be good. =)

Drowned with Assignment

I have been rushing to meet the dateline for a few weeks. Every week, I will need to submit at least one paper. And I have to admit that I didn't put in much effort in the assignment, practically, I never do any critical thinking at all. =(

Got back 2 of the papers today and managed to pass it. *Lucky. I'm so worried about the other module as the lecturer seems much stricter in marking. Haiz.. Hope I will be able to scrap through.. *finger-crossed. I don't want to waste my $1250 for that module.

Monday NO Blues

Drove to Vivocity to hunt for my cake. But it seems like the cake is pretty overpriced so me and boyf hopped over to Takashimaya to continue the hunt.

While driving to Taka, I delibrately drove past the hotel I'm currently working in. This is to show my not so updated boyf (never even heard of the hotel before) where the hell am I working. Haha.

I can't believe the boy bought like a few cakes just to try the taste of it to help me to expedite my decision. It's a bit waste of money (each piece cost at least $3), but it's so sweet of him. Lol. I think more or less I've decided which one I'm going to order. Chocolate cake of course (though i'm tempted to get the mango one).

Since we are at Taka, of course we can't miss those "Atas" retail shops. Went to LV, Chanel, Gucci, Burberry, Agnes B, etc.. to source for my brithday gift. Hahahhaa. He still coax me in chosing the present in the end.

To boyf: I know I still haven't hit the 1K budget set for me! If you happen to see this, maybe you can save the rest and use it for yourself ba. I'm contented with the gifts that you are going to get for me. =) Wah, so nice of me right!?! Don't be too touch k... I just trying to pave a easier path for me cos someone's birthday is reaching too.

Reached home around 10pm and Michelle is happy!!

Happy 44th Birthday Singapore!

Caught the NDP parade just now with the boyf at my place. The parade was pretty spectacular this year as compared to the past 2 years. It will be better if the length of the fireworks is longer. It seems exceptionally short this year (economy downturn perhaps?). "Little Nonya" has really created a great impact to Singapore yeah! Even the parade slot in the Peranakan Culture as one of the chapters. Nice!

Anyway, this afternoon, while switching through the channels, I happened to pause at Singapore Idol's advertisement and was shocked when I saw a familar face auditioned for the show. Lets name the person 'A'. I didn't even know 'A' is so ''IN'' to singing (or maybe A just want to make a fool out of 'Aself'). A bit rude of me I know, but I just can't stand 'A' though 'A' was very nice to me in the past. Pardon the overusage of 'A', cos if the gender is reveal, it might be abit obvious who the person was. Still, I wanna thanks 'A' for being nice to me, but it totally creeps me out most of time. I can remember how I tried to run away when 'A' is approaching me.

Back to the main topic....

On Friday night, went to WeiSheng's place for manjong and poker after work. The next day (Saturday evening), met up with the same people I saw on friday to catch ' G.I. Joe'. The setting of the movie was way too high tech. Overall, the movie was not too bad for me!

Dinner at Crystal Jade and even bought a little cupcake from their bakery for shirley. It's her birthday that day and since she's joining us for dessert, Joey decided buy a cupcake for her as some form of celebration. Haha.

Headed to Weisheng's place (again) for a manjong session. Hehe. We seems to drop by his place weekly for manjong/poker session. A form of leisure yeah! I stepped home at 6 in the morning. So tiring!

AMK Crab & Hangover

Met up with boyf in the evening to Ang Mo Kio Blk 323 for Dinner! Went there around 5 plus in the evening just to avoid the queue. The queue is always damn long when it's 6 plus in the evening, especially weekends. Had our usual Crab with Bee Hoon, Butter Crab and Tofu with scallops and prawn. Scumptious meal (expensive too) indeed! My treat of course! Headed to Plaza Singapora next to catch "Hangover". It was damn hilarious.. 4 out of 5 popcorn, must watch! =)

2/7 again...

Met up with the usual group of friends on Saturday Evening to catch up. 11 of us were present. Astons at The Cathay and then a stroll (the guys took the car and the girls walked! How gentleman they are yeah!?!) to Ngee Ann City and Orchard Ion. The queue at the LV store was too long for me to watse my time to get in, so, we decided to skip it and take a tour in the mall then. Bumped into Melvin when we are 'touring' orchard ion and thus, he left his brother being the 'lightbulb' and joined us instead.

We spent almost an hour deciding where to head on next to chill out. Numnerous locations were in the thoughts, from changi airport all the way to chinatown. It was already 10 plus in the night when we finally set foot in Wang Jiao Cafe, cineleisure.

Lots of nonsenses we had in the cafe. From planning how to cordinate C's and Ivan's bdae into how we are going to collaborate to start a business together. All of us specialise in each area, thus, we each was given different role to work on. Hmm, I think we need a least 3 years to make the plan feasible. From classmates to business partners, how cool is that!

For the sake of my boyf, I will come up with a list of birthday list (to ease him from thinking too hard). I'm gonna be super materialistic, so please be prepared. haha.

Poker

I've rebonded my hair AGAIN... It's super flat now. So not used to it. Anyway, I just have to bear with it for 1 -2 weeks and it will looks normal then.

Went to WeiSheng's place after the salon trip for a poker session. I won alot in the beginning, but after I stepped out for a while, my winning streak was gone, and I lost $20 in the end. *SOb.

All blamed to ****** who made me stepped out of the game (just kidding!).

I must make a comeback next week! =P

$10 KTV + Departmental Lunch

Met up with my A'Famosa fellow colleagues after work yesterday for a singing session. Too bad Michelle Chin was sent to the resort, if not she can join us. Sanged till 11pm and trained home. It's nice to see them again after almost a month.

When will be our next gathering!?! haha

Today, my department decided to have lunch together. Thus, the whole department (abt 11 pax) cabbed to Forum to have California Pizza Kitchen. Lotsa food were ordered! There were like 7 - 8 pizzas, 3 pasta, 2 salads and 3 desserts on the table. It must be costly (boss' treat) - even our ice tea cost $5 per cup. Didn't get to look at the menu, cos before I flipped, the waitress came over to me and said, "the food has already been ordered, so I shall keep the menu" (our bosses ordered the food before we came). And there goes the menu. dotz...

The pizza, pasta and salad there is damn nice... one more restaurant added into my list! =)

Lunched for 2 hours plus, super shiok. By the time we reached office, it's already going to 3pm.

YF's Birthday Party!

Attend YF's Birthday Party on Saturday Morning - Late Afternnon at SIA Sports Club. He's super UP.. even brought Wii and LCD there for entertainment purpose. LOL. At the same time, finally had a chance to meet up with the hongwen peeps after monthsss...

Afterwhich, met up again with them in the evening at Paradiz Centre to hang out. Played len since the MICE cafe was fulled. This is the first time I actually step into a len shop and played. Left 4 Dead & Counter Strike. There's 8 of us so we managed to 4 vs 4.

It was FUN FUN FUN!

Hmm, it has not been eventful this 2 day, it's mainly work - home - work.

9 years of friendship and still holding strong...

Met up with Brenda, Eugene, Kevin and Ivan after my training on Friday!

Had our dinner at Geyang Lorong 23, JB Ah Meng (B's recommendation - photos of the food we ordered are posted in B's blog) and headed to some walking distance for durians. A nice catching up session with them and hopefully we will be able to meet each other SOON!

On the side note: My training finally comes to a end and I'm gonna be back to work tmr! =)

UPDATES

Day 2 of CSP course was much better than day 1

due to the decrease in awkwardness between me and the staff there.

As for tmr, I have a roleplay and catwalk to be presented to the class,

so I do expect alot of embarassing moments and crazy/wild stuff that I will be doing.

No choice, the trainer wants to break us up!

So far so good,

the only issue will be the bus journey home.

It's super packed with people and no seat is available at all.

I HATE public transport!

Since i'm on budget on my transportation expenses,

I shall just bear with it...

Met up with my darlings (B&C) in Town yesterday!

Had our dinner at Aston, The Cathay when all Singapore Idol's wannabes are downstair queuing for their aduitions. haha.

While walking towards Taka, we bumped into Jaswinder, my sec sch classmates! What a coincident! The last time I saw her was like 5 years ago..

After walking around in Taka for some time, our feets are signalling us and thus we headed to Paragon for a drink at Starbucks and as usual some catching up!

It was nice to hear that Debra's loves our pressie to her the most! It makes our shopping for her worth while. haha. We had a hard time deciding it and B & me stayed at the shop for almost an hour till C came. lol.

We went separate ways around 9 plus and I went over to WS's house for a poker game with boyf and the rest. Gaming till 3am and left his place.

Side Track: 1st day of work was good! People there are nice. Hopefully, I will enjoy the work there! =)

STRESS FREE

All my exam have come to a end! Finally... no more mugging!

Ended my exam paper 45 mins earlier and trained to Bugis to do some Shopping ALONE!

G2000 and then Charles & Keith!

Bought another set of Formal Attire and a Bag.. Spent almost $200 within an hour....

Oh, as requested by Xiu Zhen, here's the recipe:

7 days diet plan

1 x Cabbage
2 x Tomato
2 x Onions
2 x Green Pepper
1 x Celery
2 x Chicken Breast Meat

(Put all into a pot of water and boil it for 30 mins. You can add some flavouring like Tom Yam or Pepper, if not it will be too blend)

*This is for all 3 meals (Breakf, Lunch & Dinner)
**If still hungry, can have fruits (except Bananas for the 1st 3 days)
***Banana can be consumed on the 4th day onwards
****Beef, fish and skinless chicken can be consumed on 5th & 6th day
*****Rice, Beef, fish and skinless chicken can be consumed on 7th day

P/S: I stopped the recipe from the 5th days.. hahahaha

A Little Date with Boyf & Sis

It has been quite while a since my sis tagged along to me with a date with boyf.

Met up with my boyf & sis after my work and we headed to our new hangout area (for movie), Illuma.

Had a little tryout at The Empire.

With the short amount of time left before the movie starts,

we had a super quick dinner within 20 mins.

This is actually the first time I had such short dinner in a restaurant.

Given the time provided, I knew by the time I ordered my food and finished it,

one hour must has passed,

so i skipped the course and just had the soup.

Me & boyf promised to visit there again

to have a proper meal cos

we didn't had the chance to try their actual "dishes".

We caught Night At the Museum 2 and it was hilarious!

3 & a half popcorn out of 5!

It's so ironic when we were talking in the car and

realised that my sis caught Night at the Museum 1 with us too

like a year ago or smth.

I've got a NEW job!

Bus-ed to M Hotel just now for my 2nd interview by the Director of Sales. I was nervous throughout the whole interview and even question I hated most such as 'Tell me more about yourself" was asked.

And yesh.. I was ACCEPTED!!! First time I had such formal interview and I made it through (with 2 competitors).. Damn Happy!!! =)

You will see Michelle in Blazer walking around Tajong Pagar in the future! haha. Saw some of my "soon to be" colleagues and they seems to be nice person. Hope we will get along well!

I'm so excited to start my new job! ^.^

Work + Facial + Aranda Resturant + Angels & Demons

Half day work today, so stayed in the office throughout the morning with M.Chin as others were stuck at Suntec participating in the Travel Fair. Thank god I don't have to be involved this time round!

Facial~ed @ 2.30pm and took a short nap while applying the mask. I LOVE Facial~ Gonna try their body slimming program if I have the $$$. I simply too lazy to exercise...... zzz

It was already 4.30pm when I left my facial venue. Went home to change and met up with boyf + his family to join his maternal side for buffet dinner at Aranda Resturant to celebrate post Mother's Day!

Dota at boyf's place awhile and was Illuma's Filmgarde for Angels & Demons. The movie was superb (for a person like me who didn't read the book)! haha. Highly recommended!

Now I was back at his place for dota.... =)

The last time I had my revision was like 2 years ago!?! Exam is going to commence in June 09, I need to start mugging asap.

Had a long break from work (Thur - Mon), but it never seems enough. Stayed 3 nights in boyf's place and dota along with him and his bro. I'll have to say that my dota skills is indeed improving!! I'm their key person in winning the game. Lol.

Side track: I'm so broke now... aww.. after calculation, I need to quit cabbing from now on to at least until end of May.

An Eventful Day

Attended Joey's 21st Birthday Party at her house in the afternoon. The gambling den was up once we had our buffet spread. Poker and then Big & Small (our new actively partcipated game of the day).

Rushed to Dover, SP after dropping Bryan & girlf at Tampines. It's was Deborah's 21st Birthday Party. B&C was already there when I reached. So immediately, hopped to the buffet table. It was definately a sumptous dinner.

As usual, gossipping with B&C and at the same time waiting for the cake cutting session. How on the earth do we have so much stuff to gossip about when we just met a day before. haha!!

Picked up boyf's friend at Taxi Stand and headed to Wei Sheng's place to continue our gamble.

2 Birthday Parties were not enough, a Tyre punctured @ woodlands made my day hectic! Dunno which idoit place an huge rock in the middle of the land and I overlooked it! It was already 4am and I was stuck in Woodlands. Bryan and Boyf tried to change my tyre for me but they can't release the nut so AA come to us for rescue! Thank god, I had a spare one in my boot.

Finally left the place at 5am plus and drop dead onto the bed at 7am.

Interview!

Had an interview at M Hotel this afternoon. So nervous!!! Hopefully I can get into it with my minium pay. Side note: This is actually the first time I seen myself in such formal wear.. totally business like.. Black Blazer.. Skirt.. heels... haha. Had lunch with my coursemate, Hui Ling after my interview. I need to thank her for recommending me that job yeah. Must treat her a lunch or smth if I were chosen. Lol.

On the other hand, I am still waiting for Fairmont Hotel to contact me. As for this, it's all thanks to YL for the recommendation. haha.

Hope I can have confirmation from any one of this job before end of May 09! I have already reject the offer to stay in my current job. Like this, I dun hav to spend thriftly in June! Haha.

Double Date!

Boyf + me and Bryan + Bernardatt met up and went over to Pit-Stop to have some boardgame session. =)

Come to think of it, the last time we went together was like one year ago!?! hehe. It was nice to hang out with them again! haha. Finally, a change of activity (have been playing poker for consecutive weeks)! Butbut, last 2 weeks, I have earned big bucks! Gambling den will be up again once Wei Sheng + Gf come back from Bintan!

Played till 11pm and went to Illuma for movie after sending the couple home. 'X-Men, Wolverine Origin' was fantastic!!! It's actually the first X-Men movie that I've caught! Mountain Turtle!!

That's about it.. My Labour Day!!

Grandma's Birthday!

It was grandma's birthday on 30th April, so we went to Defu Lane, Seafood Paradise to celebrate her birthday along with my relatives.

Good food and company = good mood! :)

It was a long dinner.. we left around 11pm and headed home!

Drop Dead!

Accompanied boyf for run at Punggol Park on Monday night since he need to train his stamina and at the same time it creates a good opportunity to shake some fats off me. After so long for not exercising, I just feel super tired and uncomfortable after the run. I fell asleep immediately after I bathe.

As usual, went to work the next morning. Met up with C in the afternoon for lunch and some eyecheck session. We shared some awkward stuff which we both encountered. I guessed it will still be kept between the both of us since we feel that we will hurt someone feelings if we were to say (lol, jk). Bought contact lenses from her since I will be finishing mine this month. Great to know an optician, cos i will always get free contact lenses. haha. Even got myself burberry spectacles case (free of cos)! Boyf also benefited from it as he was given free lenses too!

Knocked off at 6pm and MRT-ed to City Hall, Fairmont Hotel to meet up with Yeelin & her colleague. Cabbed to Dempsey Hill, The Wine Company for our dinner. I've heard of Dempsey Hill ages ago, but this is the first time I've been there. Liked the environment pretty much, a new spot to my list for dine in. Had a bottle of red wine among the 3 of us and we chatted till 10 plus I think.

It's Eugene's turn!

Eugene's 21st Birthday celebration @ Pasir Ris Park, Pit 4. Since Eugene don't intend to celebrate his birthday, we decided to organise a little BBQ session to celebrate it.

B along with C came to fetch me, boyf and raine at my place. We then headed to Aljunied to collect the food. Little did we realise that we have missed out the charcoal (forget to collect)!! We only discover it after we were at the park. So, we have to ask the guys to buy the charcoal and waited for them to arrive. Lucky we have fried bee hoon & cooked Otah with us which manage to satisfy our stomach.

Finally, we got our fire started around 7 plus in the night when we are suppose to meet at 4.30pm. haha. Abit lazy to elaborate, so I shall let the photos depict...

Since we discover such alternative, boyf and I decided to have a try out in their cinema!

The pathway inside the cinema was pretty spacious. Plenty of the walking space throughout each row (at least the one I went was). No worry if you were sitting in the middle!

With this new discovery, we can save $7 this week! It's alot you know!

On the side note: "KNOWING" is nice! Love the plot except for the ending. 4 out of 5 blink blink!! =)

Job Switch!?!

Since the start of 2009, I begin to dislike my job. As time passes, I just grew so sick and tired of it. It's not about the workload, not about my colleagues (they are super nice k!) in Singapore, it's just "_________________" (not convenient to reveal here, ask me personally instead). I guess some of them must have the same thinking as me ya!

Any kind souls would like to recommend any job for me!?!

My ideal job:

1) Good Pay (to support my extravagant spendings)
2) Office Hours perhaps (I need to study in the night)
3) Nice Colleagues (I dun like politics)
4) Not too much of workload/stress (I dun want to go bonker to cope with my studies & work)

Busy Saturday!

Met up with Mr M after work to have lunch together and some product launch event at Pan Pacific Hotel. Afterwhich, I rushed home to get myself changed and headed to Pasir Ris to attend 2 birthday parties. One was Shan Hu's, the other is my cousin's in coasta sand and downtown east respectively. I've missed both cut-cake session by the time i reached!!! arghx @^&*!

While I was in the room (chalet) talking to my aunt, my parents were outside discussing about my birthday celebration with boyf. dots.... From what boyf told me, seems like my parents' "ideal" birthday celebration was not what I was thinking of. Butbut, I think I will still follow what my parents wants since they are the ones sponsoring for it. Hahaha.

Sent my granny home, den headed to Wei Sheng's place next for poker session. I lost!!! =( *Sob! But boyf managed to cover my share which allows me to take back my capital. hahaha.

Happy 29 Month-ni-versay!

To celebrate this occassion, boyf brought me to Ang Mo Kio Blk 232 to have my favourite food, "CRABS"!!!! We went there early in the evening to avoid the long waiting time. Indeed, we got our seats fast after we ordered the dishes.

Just 4 dishes and it billed us $110 after a 10 cents discount from the vendor. Boyf's treat! Haha.

Try it there!! Highly recommended by me! But be careful with what you order, cos they dun state the price in the menu. For eg, just the XO Aparagus and Scallops costs us $20.

Caught "Race to Witch Mountain" with Bryan and Bernadatt later in the night over at The Cathay. 4 out of 5 popcorns for that! Walt Disney movie is never a disappointment!

RECESSION?? I doubt so...

Met up with boyf in the afternoon and went to IT Fair to hunt for my notebook. Suntec Convention was packed with people, worst than the first day that I have visited then. The securities have to stop them from advancing to level 2 and advancing batch by batch instead. I HATE TO SQUEEZE!

Back to the main topic, Lenovo G430 was my top choice but it was "OUT OF STOCK". I cannot believe it!! I wanted to get that notebook so much and I just went to a lost state when I got no hope of getting it. After pondering, I ended up with Toshiba Satellite L310 @ SGD 939.00. The design was so-so but the offer was great! Free 4 in 1 printer, Norman Security CD, additional 1GB ram, additional 1 year local warranty and a SGD 50 discount after the discounted price.

Mr K got me the laptop as a gift so i hereby would like to THANK you sincerely!!! haha. Super duper happy! =) In return, I got him 2 PS3 games which of course cannot be compared to the notebook that he bought for me.

Sakae Sushi for dinner, my treat of course and headed back to his house to configure my notebook. Poker @ Wei Sheng's place and now back to his house blogging (wanted to play warcraft with them but seems like my vista cannot detect their XP. Can anyone tell me how to make it connectable!?!).

Post Birthday Celebration

Met up with my clique on saturday to celebrate alice's belated birthday. Had our dinner at Tanglin Shopping Centre, "Chong Ching Hot Pot". I would like to clarify that the "Chong Ching Hot Pot" there is definitely not the same as the one in Liang Seah Street. Totally different grade!!

I guessed the amount of food we ordered will pretty much scares most of you. Even my boyf was shocked when he heard how much food I had consumed.

We were pretty loud when we are having our conversations. So, everytime the volume gets bigger, we would shut the door. Lucky raine got us a room instead of having the steamboat with the rest outside.

Hopped over to Starbuck next since we got nothing else to do. This is when Jave started to begin her demostration. Had an enjoyable time with them and hopefully Alice like her gift as well.

Brenda's mummy sent me home and then i headed to WS's house afterwhich. Poker~ed and manjong~ed at his place along with boyf's sec sch mate. Stayed over @ boyf's place after the game.

My class officially started on 25 Feb 09 and question marks are beginning to form!

It has been a busy week for me.

First was night class, den NATAS Fair and night class again, not forgetting my usual working hours.

Haven't been updating for a while cos Ms Michelle is busy SHIFTING office lately.

We have moved to HarbourFront Centre and yesterday was our First Day of work there! Nice environment, but lotsa temptation!

Valentine's Day

After work, went home to take a rest first before meeting him. My sis was at home and my bro came home afterwhich. I ended up driving both of them to Compass Point and Bedok respectively with boyf. I wasted 1 hours ++ just to send them to their desired location. To add on, there's a massive jam at VivoCity which also costs us some time too.

Dinner was at one of our favourite resturant, "Thai Accent". Usual dishes and a treat from my valentine. Next was belgium choc from "Haagan Daz" since it was just 2 shops away from "Thai Accent".

Bought midnight movie tickets for "Valkyrie" as almost all the timings were fully booked. What a V day that falls on a Saturday! Anyway, the movie was not bad! 3 and a half star for it. Try catching it if you are a fan of Germany and Adolf Hilter. I studied history on him before, so, there's no problem for me to understand the story.

Spent a night at boyf's place since it's a Sunday the next day. It has been ages since I stayed over, a month at least.

Private Screening

I was invited to a private screening, "Look for a Star".

It was organised by the Macau Tourist Office (Representative in Singapore).

Xiu Zhen was there with me too!

Luckily Alex managed to find me another spare ticket. I would definitely not go if I was there alone (without knowing others).

The cinema was almost fulled, even the 1st row is occupied. How lucky were us to take the last 2 row from the back plus middle seats! Heard from Alex that he's the one who reserve the seats for us! haha! Thanks again!

Back to the movie, the scenes of Macau from the movie just makes me feel like visiting there! I've been to Hong Kong for twice, but i never step foot in Macau once before. Maybe when I hit 21, I will make a trip there! haha. Casinossss...

Talking about 21st birthday, I have yet decide whether to celebrate it or not... Suggestions please!!!

Yet another Valentine's Day!

Funny and odd, a couple who has been together for 2 years plus has yet celebrate Valentine's Day together once!!! And yes, I'm talking about us!

I'm not sure why either, whenever it comes to this particular date, both of us will simply be "busy with things" and "the thing" just kept us busy on that day.

Finally, we got a chance to celebrate this year! So, I have left the plannings to the boyf. Thinking it might be just another date instead of something special since the planner is my "LAZY and LACK of CREATIVE" boyf.'

Chee Heng's 21st Brithday Party

It was held in Chevrons at the pool side. Photos are not ready yet thus there wun be any in this post. It's was nice catching up with the clinque again after a month or so.

I guessed the brithday boy is well prepared for the prank. So yes, he was thrown into the pool and he splashed water up which I kena too. Poor Eugene trying to help him up and yet got pulled into the pool. Lol. Not only that, Eugene's gave his warmest hug (with whole body drenched) to claire, raine, raine's bf and my boyf. I was spared due to the white dress I'm wearing.

Next, the clinque headed to kevin house for some manjong session while boyf headed to his friend's house for some secondary school reunion. Not mentioning his friend's kind parents whom gave me hongbao though I'm not there. Thanks~

Woke up late since I had a late sleep the day before. Drove to boyf's place to pick him up and saw him dropping dead on the bed instead. Afterwhich, we headed to boyf's uncle's place to ban nian since I havent did that yet. Blackjack and Wii at his place and it was time for dinner. We went to Defu Lane, Seafood Paradise to have our dinner with the rest of his family members. A total of 24 pax were present I think.

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!

Chinese New Year Eve (25/01/09)

Supposedly to sent my grandma to temple to pray to my grandfather with other relatives, however, due to my tiredness, I skipped it instead. I was awaken all my aunts and uncles' kids when they came back from the temple. They just kept disturbing me from my sleep till I decided to wake up.

Had a little reunion dinner at my place and all went separate ways while I headed to boyf's house to play warcraft with him.

Was told to go back home before 12am so I did nothing much on that day. Oh ya, I withdraw money from my bank and prepared 2 red packets for my mum and my granny. How nice i am right!?! haha!

Chinese New Year, Day 1 (26/01/09)

As usual, went to the temple to pray to my grandfather and all my maternal's relatives met there. Once done, all of us headed back to my house whereby the kids started to collect HongBaossssss!!!

Next was to my paternal side. After finishing my fair portion of steamboat there, boyf and I headed to his paternal side for a while and back to mine. Went back home around 7 plus since my aunties are all waiting for my mum to manjong. Blackjack with my sis, bro, boyf and a little cousin of mine and I WON!! Nice!

Chinese New Year, Day 2 (27/01/09)

This year, I didn't went to visit alot of places. So, my hongbao collections also decreases. *Sob! Woke up in the afternoon and drove to boyf's place to wish his parents first and then warcraft session again. During my warcraft session, I missed alot of hongbaos cos the other relatives were at my place. When I reached home, they are already gone! LOL.

Chinese New Year, Day 3 (28/01/09)

It's lucky that i took a leave on this day. Steamboat at my place in the evening! Some relatives of mine has been invited to join. It's just a merely catch-up session and the steamboat is really good!!!

I'm BACK!!!!!

Came back from Á'Famosa yesterday evening. Had an enjoyable time there during Orentation, most prob is because of the people in my group!!!

Know quite a few people this time round from different countries, such as Malaysia, Thailand, England and Scottland (the england and scottland ones are extremely handsome!!!) haha. P/s: England and Scottland ones happen to be the tourist there!

My skin condition is getting worse when i'm there, so i treated myself with a facial treatment today! I've also signed up for a $888 facial package with $300 worth of products inclusive since I've only left one session there.

Notice

I have to finish shopping for my new year clothings by end of this week or rather this friday.

Reason being:

I WILL BE AWAY FROM SINGAPORE FROM 13 JAN ONWARDS!

and until now, I haven't got any piece yet! *worried

I wouldn't be free after 9 Jan cos I got a fair on 10 - 11 Jan. Speaking of that, the fair will be held at Suntec City Convention Hall 401 - 404. If you happen to be there, do drop by and say Hi! haha.

After which, I will be leaving on the 13 Jan to A'Famosa for some trainings ALONE!!! Yes, ALONE!!! That's really sad!! I'll have to sleep alone, eat alone and take the coach alone! *Sob.

I will only come back on the 23 Jan, 11 days later, 1 and a half day before New Year Eve. Where on earth can i still have the time to shop for my new year clothes, so, I'll make sure I get everything done by this week!

Disgusted

While walking back home from the pool, i saw a guy right in front of me zipping up his pants while turning towards me. Immediately, I look away to the corner that he was at initially, and the disgusting guy actually pee at the corner! yucks! Me and boyf stare at each other and I shouted! Lol.

Why on the earth the guy want to pee there as if there no toilet in the vinicity. There's lotsa coffeeshop around!!!!

Worst, he is a teenager/young adult wearing an army cap!!! Is he really that urgent!?!

PLEASE!!!

Goodbye 2008! Hello 2009!

First of all,

Happy New Year Everybody!

I had a great 2008 and hoping 2009 to be a better one!

New year eve was steamboat-ing at Ching Hao's place! 2 tables and 2 steamboat to accommodate all of us. Finally, yesh, after 2 year plus, we finally got to see Mei Ping's love! hahaha. Ching Hao has a humourous dad, which kept us laughing throughout and a thoughtful mum whom kept feeding us with food/snacks! LOL!

Countdown was at the rooftop [astro city (his condo's carpark roof)], accompanied with Marina Bay's spectacular firework and of course the lovely accompanies. We popped the crackers which was distributed by his neighbour when we passed by the pool!

Went to Cheers to get some items for our game back at Ching Hao's place. Even the neighbour called up and complained that we are a bit too noisy. hehex. Afterwhich, everybody was glued to the tv programmes and slacked there for almost an hour plus. It was already 3am then.

Supper, or rather breakfast was at Serangoon, puggol nasi lemak whereby we got free tickets to watch for a fighting scene. We were so terrified (the fighting was just made around our tables) that we stood up and stood aside continuing watching and deciding where to leave or not. But boyf food just came so he insisted to finish his food before leaving.

Police came and we went back to our tables to continue our supper/breakfast.

When we left, the policemen are still there it was already 5am then.

Dropping by my place first and boyf's next. Sleepover @ his place and woke up at 4.30pm the following day. It's been quite some time since I woke up at that timing. Then, I drove home to rest awhile and met up with the boy again in the night to go for a jogging/running/walking session @ puggol park. haha.

I want to SLIM DOWN!

Orchard with the girls

Chalet post not ready yet, thus, I will just publish it later and come up with another post first.

Met up with Yee Lin, Ning Zhen, Sheena and Sabrina ytd for a little gathering cum christmas gift exchange. I know christmas is over, but it's the only day that all 5 of us is free. haha. We drawn lots (during the last meetup) and I'm supposed to get Sheena's the gift. Though I shopped for the gift a bit last min, still, I hope that she will like it! =)

Had our lunch (brunch for me) at cine's Shokudo restaurant. Food was okay so I might be visiting there again. haha. Then, it was window shopping, trying to hunt for goodies but it's too crowded (no idea y there's so many peeps in the afternoon) in orchard and all the malls which dampen the shopping mood.

Sales is everywhere, I feel so like getting smth, but I'm too broke now! :(

I'm appointed to plan for the next gathering, I think I will most prob set it on Feb, after all of us get a bit richer with all the hongbaos. hehe.

Christmas Eve

First of all,

MERRY X'MAS!

I checked out from the chalet at Aranda Country Club and drove home with the family. Took a short nap at home and was awaken by boyf's text asking me to meet him earlier.

We went to Marina Square to get the X'mas gift for all his cousin and one each for the gift exchange for the primary sch gathering. Hunting for christmas gift for like 14 pax within 2 hours is not so easy, but we managed to do it.

Headed to boyf's aunt's house to celebrate christmas with them. Then, it was meeting with the primary schmates at Xing Zhi's place. It was nice seeing all of them again. We did the gift exchange and countdown at the void deck this year as they dun wanna squeeze in the crowd. haha. Oh ya, not forgetting, been the first (I think) to wish chin fei, Happy Birthday!

Bangkok Trip

The 3rd oversea trip I went with boyf this year alone!

Day 1

Since the morning flight via jetstar is cancelled, I took tiger airways there instead in the afternoon. Took a cab to the budget terminal and first impression, it's really very budget!! It's the first time I took a budget airline and also to visit the terminal. The queue was long, so we took quite some time just to check in to the counter.

Reached Bkk around 2 plus in the afternoon (bkk time) and cabbed to our hotel. The cab fare in bkk is freaking cheap, cheaper then their public transport, so you can find me and boyf cabbing everywhere though the place is like walkable distance.

Once we checked in to our hotel, we headed to "Platinium Mall" (my fav place) to hunt for clothes. It was centralworld next (some high end shopping mall) and back to our hotel for an early rest since the boy didn't not catch any sleep at all the night before.

Day 2

Woke up in the morning and cabbed to the Grand Palace. I think I can only see most "ang mo" when I visit this heritage area. We hired a guide in the end to give us a storytelling session about the drawings on the wall in the palace since the boy is sOooo interested in it. So cultural ya! I started feeling unwell during the journey back to the hotel and yes, I fell sick!!! I forced myself to get up after a hour of rest to MBK shopping Mall. I surrender to the fever in the end after my dinner, thus, we ended the shopping trip early and headed back to the hotel to rest. I popped panadol and had a good rest while the boy was switching through channels.

Day 3

Cabbed to another temple in the morning and shopping spree in the afternoon, bought quite a few goodies! Happy! I'm a bit lazy to elaborate so day 3 is more or less shopping the whole day. Oh ya, we even caught a movie there. Wanted to know how's their cinema like, so we watched "The day the earth stood still". Tickets were damn cheap! Cinema was big, so nothing to complain about.

Day 4

Extended the hotel check out time and went to another hotel (opp us) to have a massage. Super relaxing and enjoyable. Then, it was last minute shopping before we leave Bangkok. Got gifts for my bro, sis and mum. Travelled to the airpot after checking out the room. Finally, I met Sean, my cousin in the airpot. The first throughout all 4 days. He was on the same flight as me so we had the chance to bump into each another. It's so damn coincident when I found out (one day before) that we are going bangkok and back the same day. So, sean's daddy sent me home in the end (save on the cab fare) while the boy cabbed home from my place.

Enjoyed the BKK Trip! I will be visiting there again most prob next year!

Met up with B first in Marina Square getting C's birthday gift. Then, we headed off to Taka's Crystal Jade for our dinner with the rest. We 3 hungry and angry girls waiting for the so called "strong" guys (except for Joseph) to arrive. We just kept grumbling and grumbling till they FINALLY came! haha. We even thought of how scarcastic we can be to respond back to them, of course, we didn't do it in the end. lol. As usual, crapping over dinner and presenting pressie to them! This time round, it was no longer a chocolate cake (though i'm super tempted to get it when I saw the delicious one). Since B was also one of the birthday girl, we got a strawberry cake instead. How can you be allergic to such heavenly tasty chocolate!?!?!?!?! Poor B!

After dinner, we settled at Starbucks to grab some coffee which then ended up at Kevin's place playing manjong and gossipping afterwhich.

Kevin, B, C and me took a bus since we are hopping over to C's place first before going to K's while the rest took CH car. When waiting for the rest to arrive, we 4 were talking and gossipping (as we always do). And we had a major DISCOVER!!! Shan't eleborate here.

Chilled till 1am plus and we went separate ways. Once again, thanks Joseph for always been the one sponsoring the cab fare! haha.

A quick update

Have been pretty busy recently which explain the lack of update.

So, I shall have a brief description of what i have done the past few days.

Caught the movie, "Bolt" at Plaza Sing on Sunday. Had a supper fast dinner over at Secret Recipe when my diners card for secret recipe finally put into use after holding it for at least 6 months.

Then it was work and tution repeating again and again.

My bangkok trip is nearer and nearer! So excited!

Gonna meet the buddies tmr!

A Short Meet - Up (Sheena's Back!)

Ended work at 7pm so I trained to Orchard to meet up with the girls (Ning Zhen, Sabrina & Sheena). It has been some times since I last took train. Walked over to Paragon to meet them first since NZ was there shopping for her Burberry shirt. It's really killing me to walk from orchard mrt - paragon - wheellock place.

Due to the long queue at Sakae Sushi, we hopped over to Big O for our dinner instead. Big O is a big "NO NO". I would never visit there again as their food is not so nice yet we are paying at such a high cost. Luckily my amex card managed to get us a 15% discount.

As usual, crapping during dinner and we thought of celebrating christmas together this year! So, we draw lots to see who shall get pressie for whom and of course, nobody knows who's getting for who too! FUN! Since YeeLin missed ytd gathering, she shall be the one planning for the christmas meet up.

After dinner and strolling around, we decided to go home. Received aussie chocolates from Sheena!!!! Happy!! She just came back from Australia for her 3 months vacation! I Love Aussie Chocholates!

"Bonding" Session 1

After much discussion and postponing, we have decided to settle down in Partyworld (Liang Court) on saturday (29/11/08).

After work, all of us, for the first time, knocked off together and walked over to Central to have our lunch together first. Yoshinoya it was!

Then, we travelled to Liang Court for our first bonding session ever, which is the PartyWorld Session! I've must say they can really SING (except for the odd one out)!!! I think they know who I meant. It was real fun!

Met up with B in the afternoon to shop for the pressie for the birthday peeps! Bascially, we just settle everybody's presents in 1 shop. haha. It's simply too last minutes! Gathered with the rest in the evening at Marina Square's "Spaggedies" for dinner. While waiting for everyone to arrive, C and me headed out to search for the birthday cake. Every shop seems to provide slices instead of whole, so we decided to get a ice cream cake from Swensens instead.

Haha, we've got a log cake at 20% discount plus words engrave to it.

I think the manager like us!! haha.

We seems to be the only people getting the discount w/o dinning there! hehe.

Sick Bug

Seems like our office has a sick bug dropping by and check in to our office.

Suntec

I was in Suntec over the weekend "working"!! We hit the sales target, which is great! Now, we are hoping that the incentive will be higher.

Working in Suntec doesn't stop me from shopping. During lunchbreak both both sat and sun, I got a shorts from Cotton On and heels from Schu. Basically, I spent away my incentives from the previous fair. Hai.

Boyf visited me on sat for dinner and waited for me to end work. PS3 over till 1am, slept over at his place, work up in the morning and went to work. That's how short we spent together this weekend.

DFS Galleria

Received a call from the salesperson mentioning that the stock I wanted has arrived but with limited stock (which is like only 2 pcs). Thus, I hurried down after work to purchase the wallet since she can only help me reserve it till 7pm.

I even got membership with them so I'm will try my best to hit 8000 points to enjoy the perks. So anyone of you purchasing from DFS, please tagged me along so I can accumulate the point. It's not just restricted to Singapore, even if I'm oversea where DFS available, I still can collect the point.

Anyway, I'm so excited to see him tommorrow~
